OpenWishes comes with three main features:

• Create your personal wishlist and give it to your friends (Have desires)
• Get the right presents for your friends (Make gifts)
• Do never ever forget a birthday anymore (Get reminded)

Your personal wishlist is public and available via internet. Thus you can just copy your personal wishlist list and give it to your friends.
The internet address of your wishlist is created by the following pattern:
http://openwishes.de/wishlist/<yourLogin>
You can also find your personal wishlist link on your "configure wishlist" page.
For privacy reason it is possible to protect your wishlist with an custom password.

There are three posibilities for creating a new wish:

• Describe your wish by a simple text.
  Sometimes you just need a simple text to describe your wishes thus in OpenWishes you can create new wishes just with plain text.
• Create a wish from a public website.
  Maybe you've found a website with the product you want have on your wishlist. In this cast copy the URL and create a wish directly with this product site as source. Your created whish will point to this website.
• Create a wish directly from the Amazon product palette.
  The third posibility is to create a new wish directly from the Amazon product palette. Take our integrated amazon search and crate new wishes.

Yes it is possible to add as many present ideas as you can to one of your friends. Your friend hasn't to be registered himself to OpenWishes. Just create a new friend by name and birthday and remember present ideas for him.

There are many ways to remind you for the next upcoming birthdays:

• Receive a reminder e-mail You can configure as many e-mails as you want to remind you for an upcoming birthday. For example, receive an e-mail 14 days before, 2 days, 1 day and right on the birthday morning.
• Subscribe to your personal birthday RSS Feed If you use a RSS feed reader for your daily news the RSS birthday feed is the right way for you.
• Through the Firefox add-on "Birthday Reminder" With the special OpenWishes Firefox Add-on "Birthday Reminder" you will see the next upcoming birthdays right in your browser statusbar.

No, it is not!
You can add as much friends/birthdays as you want. So you can create reminders also for your grandparents, for example.

Some e-mail clients mark our e-mail as span thus have a look into your spam folder
But it is also possible to login without a previous confirmation. In this case you will see a confirmation reminder with the option to send again a new confirmation mail.

First have a look in your spam folder in your e-mail client.
